Veluare: launching a luxury jewellery brand on Shopify, end to end

Veluare is a Turkish accessible-luxury jewellery brand. No7 Software delivered its complete launch: digital branding and a custom Shopify theme, full catalogue migration, payment and shipping integrations for the Turkish market, a loyalty programme live from day one, and AI-visibility engineering so the brand is discoverable in Google and in AI assistants.

The brief

A new brand, a competitive niche, and nothing built yet

Veluare came to us with a product line and a clear positioning: high-quality, niche-design pieces in the accessible luxury segment. There was no digital presence yet, and launching a jewellery brand in that market needs more than a functional storefront. The brand needed:

  • A distinct visual identity that communicates craftsmanship, carried consistently through the store
  • A full product catalogue migrated and organised into collections that make browsing intuitive
  • Payment and shipping infrastructure suited to the Turkish market
  • Discoverability in AI-driven search and recommendation tools, not just classic Google results
  • Customer retention mechanics in place at launch, not bolted on later

What we built

Every layer of the launch, from the logo to the checkout

Brand & theme

A storefront that carries the brand, not a template that fights it

Veluare sells accessible luxury, so the store had to feel like the product: quiet, warm and precise. We built the digital brand system first, covering serif typography, a cream-and-gold palette and the mark itself. Then we translated it into a custom Shopify theme rather than forcing the brand into an off-the-shelf template.

The result reads as one brand from the homepage hero to the checkout button: editorial imagery, an interactive brand story section, and campaign surfaces the team can re-skin each season without touching code.

Catalogue architecture

A full catalogue migrated and structured for how people actually shop jewellery

We migrated the complete product catalogue onto Shopify as part of the full store build, and rebuilt the collection structure around real buying behaviour: necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings and anklets, plus traditional Turkish categories such as şahmeran and pazu that generic jewellery taxonomies do not even have a word for.

Every product landed with clean data. Consistent naming, materials in the title where buyers search for them (14K, zircon, quartz), accurate pricing and collection tagging. No placeholder pages, no dead links, no disruption.

Merchandising

Merchandising surfaces the team runs without a developer

Bestsellers, new arrivals, featured pieces and colour-led edits each have their own tabbed storefront section, driven by collections the Veluare team manages in the Shopify admin. Launching a seasonal campaign is a merchandising task, not a development ticket.

Campaign banners and the video-backed feature sections follow the same rule: content is editable, the design system keeps it on-brand.

Shoppable content

A shoppable lookbook that turns styling inspiration into orders

Jewellery is bought as part of an outfit, not in isolation. The lookbook pairs editorial photography with product hotspots. Tap a piece in the photo, see the product, add it to the bag. It gives the brand a place to publish styling content that sells directly instead of linking out.

Content & discovery

A content engine built for both Google and AI assistants

The store launched with a working blog of jewellery buying guides (gold-plated vs solid gold, seasonal edits), plus structured data, clean semantic markup and machine-readable pages. That groundwork is what gets a brand cited when shoppers ask ChatGPT or Google AI what to buy, and it still serves classic rankings.

This is the same AI-visibility engineering we sell as a standalone service, applied from day one instead of retrofitted later.

Retention from day one

A loyalty programme live at launch, not a post-launch add-on

Most stores add loyalty a year in, after acquisition costs start to hurt. Veluare launched with Anchor, our own Shopify loyalty and rewards app, fully configured on day one: points, rewards and member incentives working from the first order. The founder credits it as a meaningful factor in early customer acquisition and conversion.

Commerce infrastructure

Payments and shipping tuned to the market the brand sells in

We set up payment and shipping integrations suited to Turkish customers: local payment expectations, same-day dispatch messaging, and trust signals such as secure checkout and careful packaging surfaced where buyers look for them. Checkout works the way the market expects, which is the difference between a browse and an order.

Dilek Yaylım, founder of Veluare, at her desk

“Bringing Veluare to life meant everything had to feel right — the design, the details, the way the store carries our story. The No7 Software team understood that from the start. They moved our entire catalogue over without a single hiccup, built us a storefront that actually looks and feels like the brand we imagined, and thought ahead about things we hadn’t even considered yet, like how AI search would find us. One thing that really stood out: they made sure our loyalty and rewards programme was live from day one, not something we bolted on later. That turned out to be a huge factor in how we acquired customers early on and how many of them actually converted. Working with them felt less like hiring a vendor and more like having a team that genuinely cared about getting Veluare right.”

The outcome

A production-ready brand, not just a website

Veluare launched with a complete e-commerce presence: a distinctive identity, a fully migrated and organised catalogue, working payments and shipping, retention mechanics from the first order, and a foundation built for both today’s search and the AI-assisted discovery that is replacing it. Design, build, data and marketing groundwork were delivered by one engineering team, end to end. The store is live at veluare.com.
